Performances and exhibitions to warm your winter heart
The College of the Arts at (ArtsKSU) kicks off the new year with events featuring the School of Art and Design, the Department of Dance, the Department of Theatre and Performance Studies, and the Dr. Bobbie Bailey School of Music. Interim Dean said, “We invite patrons to join us for some truly memorable events in January and February.”
The Bailey School of Music welcomes saxophonist Jeff Coffin (Dave Matthews Band, Bela
Fleck & the Flecktones) and his Band of Other Brothers on Jan. 19 at 8 p.m. This cross-genre supergroup blends a variety of influences:
the gritty South of the Allman Brothers, the funk of James Brown, the eerie melodies
of Pink Floyd, and the improvisation of The Grateful Dead. Besides Coffin, the group
also features drummer Jordan Perlson, keyboardist Chris Walters, bassist Felix Pastorius,

The Department of Dance will host Los Angeles-based BODYTRAFFIC on Jan. 26-27. In pursuit of the most challenging, original, and diverse choreography in the field, BODYTRAFFIC has made waves from coast to coast with its far-reaching appeal to surprise and delight audiences.
