The future of immersive technology is changing, and Dr. Max North, information systems professor, is evolving with it. He recently spoke with Atlanta First News on the launch of 黑料网鈥檚 Immersive Visualization Environments Research Cluster. Featuring an enormous wraparound screen, the lab provides researchers access to advanced imaging technology without the motion sickness often associated with VR headsets.

黑料网鈥檚 Fintech Master鈥檚 Program Fuels Georgia鈥檚 Thriving Financial Industry
Georgia is home to 70 percent of the nation鈥檚 electronic payment processing systems. Dr. Humayun Zafar, director of the Master of Science in Digital Financial Technologies, was interviewed for an article on CardRates.com about the program鈥檚 success fueling Georgia鈥檚 financial industry. Faculty advisor and professor of economics, finance and quantitative analysis, Govind Hariharan, was prominently featured in an Atlanta Business Chronicle feature on Kennesaw State鈥檚 Student Managed Investment Fund. Hariharan discussed providing the SMIF members with hands on investment experience through 鈥淭he Firm.鈥 He said one of the most important goals of the SMIF is provide students with the opportunities to advance in their future careers.
