KSU Archives establishes new collecting initiative to document the COVID-19 pandemic experience

The 黑料网 Archives invites all KSU students, faculty, and staff to share your stories as part of our effort to document the experiences of our campus community during the COVID-19 pandemic. While official University responses to this unprecedented event will be recorded and preserved in the Archives as part of our regular collecting practices, we also want to ensure that the personal experiences and reactions of our community members are included in the historical record. Your stories will become part of the KSU Archives and will help future researchers understand how the KSU community was affected by this experience.

To participate, visit Documenting COVID-19 and the KSU Community and tell us about how the pandemic has impacted your day-to-day life. We are interested in stories about:

  • the shift to remote learning
  • being displaced from student housing
  • off-campus jobs
  • the ways you and your friends and family are staying in touch during this period of social distancing and self-quarantine
  • the challenges of international students or those with families abroad
  • any other changes you have witnessed within the KSU campus and community.

In addition to your written response, you can also submit photographs, video, audio recordings, or artwork that document your experience with the pandemic. Each form will allow for you to sign a virtual deed of gift and provides important information about rights and use of your content.

Questions? Please contact us at archives@kennesaw.edu for more information. We look forward to preserving your stories as part of the KSU Archives!
