Looking to accommodate meals for multiple guests? University Dining offers various options for group dining, whether you are an internal department providing lunch for your team or a public school visiting campus on a field trip, we welcome you to enjoy our highly acclaimed dining halls at both the Kennesaw and Marietta Campuses.

Starting in the Fall 2024 semester, our group request process for internal departments has changed. Please read the following carefully.

Internal KSU Department Group Meals

This method is highly recommended for convenience, as well as optimal cost savings. Choose one (1) or more Department Meal Plan(s) and we will load them onto a Meal Plan card for anyone in your department to use at any time. Whether your department is purchasing a Meal Plan for a large visit or using it over the course of the semester for smaller visits, additional Meal Plan entries can be requested at any point during the semester. Unused Meal Plan entries will carry over from semester to semester and will not expire.

Instructions on how to use the Department Meal Plan can be found on the request form. To request a Meal Plan card and pay by invoice, please fill out the form below. A dining representative will then reach out to you with more information.

  •  Pay Upon Arrival with Credit Card, Debit Card or KCash

If you do not wish to purchase a department Meal Plan, you may purchase Meal Plan entries upon arrival at the dining hall with a credit card, debit card or KCash and receive a 10% discount off the door rate by showing your Faculty/Staff ID.

    • Regular Entry Rate: $14 + Tax
    • Entry Rate with Discount: $12.60 + Tax

Individual payments of 10 or more cannot be accommodated and must be made using one (1) card or through the Department Meal Plan. Invoice options for an individual group visit may be accommodated for large groups of 20 or more if the options above are not feasible for your visit. If you are bringing a large group to dine in and need an invoice for your visit, please include this on your request form or contact Dining if you have any questions. 

  •  Large Group Visit Request Form

To ensure the best experience for your group, internal groups of 20 or more guests must submit a large group request form at least three (3) days before the visit date. Additionally, Department Meal Plan requests must be made at least two (2) days before the visit to allow for set up time. This is necessary for  our team to accommodate the extra food and labor needed for the visit.


All requests are primarily for meal services only. If you are requesting reserved seating, please see the section for reserved seating at the bottom of this page for more information before you submit your request.

 External Group Requests and Visits

If you are bringing a group to visit campus for a field trip or an event, an external group request form must be submitted at least three (3) days prior to your group's arrival for our team to prepare for your visit. 

  • Payment Information

All meals must be paid for on one (1) invoice, card or check. Cash is not accepted in the dining halls and individual card payments of 10 or more cannot be accommodated. 

Checks may be made out to ºÚÁÏÍø Dining or ºÚÁÏÍø.

Anyone entering the dining hall must pay for entry. Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside the building, and food may not be taken out of the building.

    • Entry Rate for Groups Under 10: $14
    • Entry Rate for Groups of 20 or More: $12

Tax will be added to the total cost of meals purchased, unless a completed State of Georgia ST-5 Sales Tax Exemption form is provided. Sales tax exemption forms from other states are not eligible for tax exemption.

Reserved Seating Disclaimer and Group Policies (All Groups)

The dining halls are a space prioritized for students. Due to continuous growth in enrollment and recent Meal Plan restructuring, reserved seating for groups is strictly limited to ensure fair seating opportunities for all guests.


If you need a space to host an event, meeting or interview, please contact the Department of Event and Venue Management to inquire about available event spaces to book on campus.


Internal departments can to request event space.


External visitors can to request event space.


If you are hosting an event on campus, you are welcome to utilize the dining halls for meal services. However, if you need meals provided at your event location, catering options are available. For more catering information, please click here.


Internal departments or external groups visiting The Commons on the Kennesaw Campus with a group of 20 or more guests may request to reserve a section in the dining hall. However, accommodation is not guaranteed and will depend on availability. Large group sections are available on a limited, first-come, first-served basis, and requests may only be made during the following times:

  • Monday – Thursday: Breakfast, from 7 to 10:30 AM
  • Friday – Sunday: Any Time

Private seating may be requested in the upstairs Mezzanine Suite during the above times if available. This space requires a booking fee of $75 to cover additional labor for room set up and clean up.


Seating requests during peak hours cannot be accommodated. Reserved seating requests are not accepted for Stingers Dining Hall on the Marietta Campus due to limited space.


If seating accommodation is needed due to wheelchair accessibility or if you are visiting with young children under the age of 16, you may include this information in your visit request, and a dining representative will contact you for assistance.
