Credit by Exam Tables

Prior Learning Assessment opportunities allow students to accelerate their studies by earning college credit through examination. Some exams are completed in high school, CLEP and DSST can be taken during your studies at 黑料网 which can allow you to complete some of your degree requirements.

Disclaimer: Please make sure to review the tables routinely as they can and will change. Current tables are in effect. In order to receive an credit, official test scores must be sent directly to KSU.

Quick Guidelines

A couple of quick guidelines:

  • No duplicate credit will be awarded
    • Example: earning ENGL 1101 in AP and IB. This will award a single instance of ENGL 1101 at 3 credits; not 6)
    • xT00 (elective) is an exception and may be awarded more than once
  • If a student earns credit for the same course from different exams, credit will be awarded from the exam that would provide the most credit
  • When an exam score corresponds to the same credit as a completed course, the course credit will be applied, if the course grade is 鈥淐鈥 or higher
  • Course equivalencies are included in degree audit and/or transcript
  • Contact the to request your official AP test scores to be sent to KSU to receive credit. Credit is not awarded based upon high school transcripts.
