Dr. Stacey Dixon comes to us from National Louis University in Chicago where she was the Director of Student Veteran Support Services for 5 years.  She served as a Meteorologist and Oceanographer in the U. S. Marine Corps for 21 years.  After military retirement, Dr. Dixon worked as a Financial Advisor/Stockbroker with an international brokerage firm in Palm Springs, Ca.  She later relocated to Chicago where she taught JROTC and Leadership Development courses for a charter school.  Dr. Dixon received her BS in Mathematics/Science from Thomas Edison College, her MBA from National Louis University in San Diego, and her Doctorate from Argosy University in Chicago.  She has a daughter and son, and four grandchildren.

I am excited to be a part of OWL Nation, KSU, and mostly the Military and Veteran Service Team.  And I look forward to developing a program that highlights all servicemembers, veterans, and families’ contributions to this country.  So, strap on your packs, and let’s have some fun!

Yvonne Perrino is a wife and daughter of former Air Force Veterans. Her passion to help military families began during military tours overseas in the Pacific and abroad by serving on committees to support transitioning families. She has a Bachelor of Arts, in Advertising from the University of South Florida. Her background is in news media where she worked as an Account Executive and Regional Manager for companies like Tampa Bay Times, Express-News, and Time Warner Communications.

As a Program Outreach Coordinator, my goal is to highlight on-campus services to help Veterans and families achieve their academic and career goals.  This year our focus is to collaborate with Atlanta metro community partners, Veteran organizations, and Atlanta area-based companies to offer academic support seminars, career-focused opportunities, and family engagement programs that are an extension of the ºÚÁÏÍø mission. Our resources are here to support the talent of the military community.
