Sexual Wellness Programs and Services

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that nearly 20 million new STIs occur annually in this country, half of those among young people aged 15–24 (CDC, 2015). Health Promotion and Wellness recognizes the importance of sexual health to the overall health of student lives. We are dedicated to providing a range of sexual and reproductive health resources and services encompassing contraception, STI screening, and healthy sexual relationships.

Health Education Programs

Health Education Programs increase awareness about sexual health at ºÚÁÏÍø, guides students, faculty, or staff to existing health resources, and create safe and non-judgmental spaces for students to talk about a full continuum of health behaviors and choices.

Health Education Programs:

  • Sexual health education & coaching
  • Sexual health education for larger groups (classrooms, student orgs, etc)

If you have any questions, please email phe@kennesaw.edu.

Meet with a Health Educator

We encourage students to take the time to meet with a Health Educator to ask any questions or share any concerns regarding sexual health supplies and sexual health in general. If you would like to meet with a Health Educator, you can request a meeting while requesting supplies or email wellctr@kennesaw.edu.

Sexual Health Supplies

For the health of our students, the university provides condoms to KSU students upon request. Orders can be placed the first day of class through the last day of final exams each semester.

When notified, students can pick up their order in the following locations:

  • Student Recreation and Activities Center, suite 1200 located on the Kennesaw Campus
  • Joe Mack Wilson Student Center, suite 260 on the Marietta Campus
  • On campus residents can now pick up their orders at the Talon Express Lockers on either campus

We encourage students to take the time to meet with a Health Educator to ask questions or share concerns regarding sexual health.
